Founder's Story
There is something magical that happens when people from diverse communities connect. It let's them to grow and grow beyond their known limiting beliefs.
That was the inspiration behind the IT Legacy community. Not as individuals but as a community, I think we can make a huge positive impact on the world. Thus leaving our legacy on the planet.
Regional Connection
We need our community to gather and connect with each other easily and quickly. As human beings the best connections are made from person to person meetings. And we always encourage our students to strengthen those connections. That's why our community is limited to 3 universities only. And we are trying to expand with keeping our core values.
Connected Learning
We always encourage our students to share each other's learning materials, ideas and learn collectively. Only with that can we build a community where all of our students are enriched in knowledge and know how to use that knowledge as skills.
To encourage our values, 'Road To Legacy' annually connects students with experts, navigating diverse IT paths from Software Engineering to Teaching. Empowering sessions shape a roadmap for success in technology.

On 17th of December 2022, IT Legacy was founded.
2023 March
Meetup of Leads
The 1st meetup of the leads was help on 11th of March at Diyasaru Park.

Road To Legacy 1.0
Our Flagship event is scheduled to be held in January 2024, at University of Colombo or University of Sri Jayewardenepura
